Each year, Microsoft celebrates the diversity and intersectionality of the LGBTQIA+ community. I had the opportunity to collaborate with the Windows design team to create Pride themed wallpapers for Windows in 2022 and 2023.
2023 Windows Pride Wallpaper
Make Pride
For Pride month 2023, LGBTQIA+ peoples at Microsoft created design compositions that incorporate almost 50 LGBTQIA+ flags. The Pride design system includes customized Microsoft Pride font, hand-drawn brush strokes, and sketch textures.

For the Hero Windows Pride wallpaper, I integrated the pride assets created as textures woven into Windows’s theme.

The Pride Theme Pack showcased in a museum environment was inspired to enhance the artistic, cultural, and historical significance of each flag, representing an inclusive space for individuals to celebrate and embrace their distinct sense of pride.

Pride Has No Borders
Microsoft has introduced a new Pride flag design in 2022, featuring converging beams of color representing 40 LGBTQIA+ communities. I was asked to incorporate the colors that represent the 40 LGBTQIA+ communities and weave them into a design in keeping with the Window’s bloom DNA.
